Essences of Mehrangarh

The Jodhpur royal family traces its origins to Kannauj, one of India’s oldest kingdoms. Since ancient times this legendary land has been famous for its peace, prosperity, and beauty, and for the production of traditional ittars (perfume essences). Our master perfumer has been creating scents for Rajasthan’s royal families for eight generations, and his fragrances are distilled through a traditional process using pure blossoms grown in the Kannauj area. Each of our essences comes to you in a delicate, tasseled 5 ml glass bottle, presented in a special presentation case featuring a detail from a painting in our Garden & Cosmos collection. Just a tiny drop will envelop you in scent.
